The GBLVCC serves the communities of Bennington, Garden City, Bloomington, Fish Haven, Laketown, Montpelier, Ovid, Paris, Georgetown, St. Charles and others. Our Chamber family welcomes businesses and organizations outside the geographic area that have an interest in being part of our vibrant Chamber comprised of over 200 classifications of businesses. GBLVCC members range from large corporations to small office/home office entrepreneurs.
The GBLVCC is an advocate of businesses, helping members to succeed by growing their businesses and prospering through networking, business management assistance, exposure, education and referrals.
The GBLVCC is known for being the voice of business with government leaders about issues involving our communities. Opportunities exist to address important legislative issues at local, state and national levels with a unified voice. The Chamber stays informed and strives to take a proactive stand on issues that affect the business and residential community. |

The GBLVCC is also the voice of the GBLVCC communities, helping to coordinate the many resources and talents of local business people with issues from economic development to revitalization efforts of our downtown areas, schools, taxes and recent transportation efforts. We serve as advocates for the interests of commerce!
The GBLVCC also serves as the visitor’s resource center, promoting our area to the many callers inquiring about the Bear Lake Valley as a destination to live, work and play. We offer to the public a “Welcome Packet” to personally greet newcomers, a link to our business members and numerous other publications promoting the Bear Lake Valley including an award winning map of the area.
